Geoff Wise - Managing Secretary
Geoff is responsible for the running of the club. He is responsible for the performance of all staff within Administration, Greenkeeping, Bar and Kitchen. His targets are derived from the Management Committee with his position endeavouring to ensure the long term longevity of the club in terms of achieving a stable financial and membership base.
Geoff is the direct line manager to all department heads and has responsibility for all aspects of the Golf Club including compliance with H & S in the workplace, risk assessments, personnel and all business/leisure legislation.
He works closely with the Captain in matters relating to Social, Golf and Membership, and with Committee members on aspects of marketing the club.

Paul Bowles - Head of Bar, Catering, Events and Functions, Accounts manager
Paul looks after the bar and catering team. He works closely with the two chefs in developing and evolving the menus for day to day and functions. He reviews all suppliers periodically to ensure best deals, and is responsible for ensuring all catering and drink margins are met.
Paul is the first port of call for all events and functions at the golf club. Paul works with the current captain to ensure the social calendar is run smoothly and efficiently and also looks after weekly Health and Safety checks within the Club.
Paul's second role at the club is to deal with day to day accounts matters, in conjunction with the Club Teasurer. |

Simon Wells - Head Greenkeeper
Simon's prime responsibility is to prepare, maintain and develop the Course to a consistently high standard in accordance with the Club's Course Management Policy Document and the Club's Future Development Plan. The position requires a comprehensive range of skills and an extensive knowledge and experience of greenkeeping.
His role requires attention to seasonal programmes of work, course improvements, necessary repair and machinery maintenance. Underlying this work is strict compliance with Health & Safety Legislation. Simon is responsible for the management of greenkeeping workforce.

The greenkeeping team is responsible for the course, including the practise areas teeing grounds, fairways, putting greens, bunkers, paths, ponds, banks and much woodland plus all boundary fences.
The teams particular work profile is dictated by the extent on their knowledge of Greenkeeping and skill in applying such materials as fertilizers, weed and other infestation killers or preventative treatments at the correct time of the season.
They must know how to operate the machines used in the tasks of mowing, spiking, scarifying, and coring. They are Trained First Aiders, have qualifications in Tractor Driving, and 'All-Terrain Vehicle'. They regularly undertake 'toolbox training'; and some staff have 'spraying certificates' and/or a Chain Saw Certificate.

Bar and Catering

Erika Gaston - Chef
Erica is responsible for all aspects of food in the kitchen. She meets the requirements of the bar menu service on a daily basis and prepares food for all societies, functions and events. She ensures ingredients are ordered on a daily basis to meet demands and is encouraged to have new ideas to evolve the menus.
Erika also ensures that food hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained to a very high level.
